Learn Peace is an activity book for use with primary and secondary school students.
Activities grouped for English, Art and Drama, Social Studies, Outreach/Social Actions.
It provides activities directly related to curriculum on social actions in relation to social issues.
Activities include:
- holding classroom mock UN debates on nuclear disarmament
- designing a new peace symbol
- opinion polling on nuclear issues
- role-playing a nuclear crisis
- honouring victims and celebrating victories
- writing competitions, letters to the editor, art competitions, opinion polls, trivia nights
