Sports4Peace: Peace is Our Goal

Schools’ Peace Week 2011
This year Schools’ Peace Week will be held on 8-12 August 2011 with the theme “Sports4Peace: Peace is Our Goal.”
Primary and secondary students in New Zealand are invited to participate by educating students on how sports can be harnessed in the advancement of solidarity, social cohesion and peaceful co-existence.
Schools can register their participation online at www.peace.net.nz for a chance to win $150 cash prize for their school, plus more chance of winning cash prizes if they participate in the Poster Making Contest for Primary Schools, and Peace Video Presentation for Secondary Schools.
